Saturday 3rd October – 5pm at TAILLET Eglise St Valentin
Trio flûte, alto et harpe – This combination of instruments, probably first used by Claude Debussy in his famous sonata in 1915, inspired many composers throughout the 20th century up to current composers. This trio therefore invites us to discover this repertoire through a daring and innovative program which highlights little-known pieces illustrating the evolution of instrumental writing until today. Combining traditional sounds and contemporary modes of play, these musicians take us on a journey through time and space with influences of world music from Japan to South America through the blues. A concert to discover !!
